In stormy weather, organizations are often in need of an independent view on matters. That is, organizations that recognize that a merger, a conflict, or an explosive growth makes them vulnerable. Someone from the outside not only has an objective perspective on the situation, but is also able to see the whole picture: the process, the people, and the communication. In difficult circumstances, these elements are mostly no longer in line.

Deficient communication leads to differences in interpretation. Among the staff, but also with the clients. Emotion takes over and relations that have always been good are forever damaged. A development of sudden growth may generate a shift in tasks; a thinker may have to become a manager. This does not have to be a problem, provided that he/she receives the necessary coaching. Bear in mind that with a neutral and positive outlook on things, practically any undesirable situation can be avoided or resolved.

So, what am I then? A mediator, a consultant, a coach or a sparring partner? It does not matter. We both have the same goal: resolving the situation. Whether you are a starting entrepreneur or a CEO. In achieving this objective, our core principle is a positive attitude, which we want to instill – if so required – in everyone involved. And also here applies: results are sacred, but the human measure is leading.
