Reorganization Manager

Already at a very young age, I asked my parents: ‘Why am I on earth?’. Now, as a reorganizer, I ask my clients the same question. After all, companies are here for a reason too. Making a contribution to a better world. Becoming the leader in the branch. And, of course, making profits. Because no business can exist without capital, let alone without human capital.

Making a company healthy again requires an intervention. In this context, a primary focus on money will not suffice. A Top down reorganization is a short-term solution and therefore a bad investment measure. This is why, as a reorganizer, I am strict as regards the contents and compassionate as regards the people. I make sure that everyone understands what we are doing. And I always make an effort to explore the possibilities for employees to continue (and improve) their careers elsewhere in the organization, if necessary.

A company that is going through a difficult time is usually not a place where there is a focus on renewal. There may be resistance to change or, in truth, fear. The first question is then how to give those involved their energy back and motivate them to participate. How to make them feel safe again and help them regain their confidence in the future. All of them, because everyone is equally important. The strength of people-oriented reorganization is that the business side is effectively scrutinized without unhealthy stress for those involved. This is because they understand what is going on and why. And at the end of the day, this approach yields – in all areas – the best results.
